I like Jenny McCarthy and was looking forward to reading this book. However, I was disappointed that she portrayed herself as a total mess. Plus, some of the stories didn't come across as believable. It just seemed like she was over-exaggerating actual stories or well, she really is a total mess. All pregnant women are not insane!

The only part I thought was funny was the last two pages written for the baby daddy (my husband). The rest is not typical of a baby book as far as the writing goes - written to be funnd. It wasn't funny to me. She is very straight forward, very honest and frank... I had no issues with it just thought it wasn't funny. I enjoyed reading it. Read it in less than a day. It is a very short book. Lots of blank pages throughout so there really isn't much content and no real medical facts rather pregnancy from a celebrity mom's perspective. Throughout I kept thinking she is just a dumb blonde that is all about image and looks - I know I am very cruel but that is what impression I got. I feel bad she had such a rough pregnacy and labor. My pregnancy so far has been fairly easy so could not relate to alot of her horror stories (knock on wood). It is worth the $10 and worth reading for entertainment.

I read this book during my 7 month of pregnancy and laughed so much. I almost wished I had read it earlier in my pregnancy, but it was nice to look back and compare her experience to what I had gone though at the time. It is so true and to the point. Jenny really tells the story of her pregnancy well and with lots of humor that many can relate to. It is a quick read too, I read it in about 3 days.

If ever there was a book that could make pregnancy something you can have a good laugh over, this is that book! Unlike the pregnancy itself, I didn't want this book to ever end! It was uproariously hilarious, and all the while still being informative. So many endless amounts of books out there are purely facts and information, which it IS good to have at least one "serious" book like that for all the info you will need, but it's nice to take a break from the textbooks of pregnancy and have a good laugh about the many things that we experience in pregnancy!! Jenny McCarthy is brutally honest about her experiences and those which are likely to happen to most of us as well, holding nothing back..But she does so in a way that will not SCARE you, at least! Pregnancy is a major undertaking so it's nice to read a book that makes a little light out of something that is such a big deal. This is the best book to read to find out all the things that doctors, textbooks and the average woman would NOT tell you!! I would recommend that any woman that is or plans on becoming pregnant read this book..Even if you are not pregnant, you surely will still find it equally as entertaining all the same!

This book was hilarious!!! I was tearfully laughing out loud so many times my husband thought there was something wrong with me. Also, it was a pleasant break from all of the very serious books about pregnancy I've been reading. Thanks Jenny!
